
Stan Cohen, founder of ChiForLiving, is a student/teacher of movement theory. An artistic, visual learner and intuitive, Stan uses his skills to interpret and taech movement, balance and mobility sense.
During 9 years of Tai Chi study, Stan found that many older people did not have the balance and capabilities for traditional teaching/learning methods. He broke away from the standards to develop his own system. Stan designed his program, ChiForLiving, to help students develop the capabilities needed to participate in fitness classes and improve their daily activities. Each person is very different and Stan finds that his teaching method, which has been called practical movement techniques, seems to strike a chord with his students.
