"To create the life of your dreams, the time has come for you to love You. Focus on Your joy. Do all the things that make You feel good. Love You, inside and out. Everything will change in your life when you change the inside of You to love. Allow the Universe to give you every good thing you deserve, by being a magnet to them all. To be a magnet for every single thing you deserve, you must be a magnet of love." from The Secret
Both Lisa Nichols and Jack Canfield have been living examples of this excerpt from the Secret. If you want to attract abundance in form, then you must continue doing the inner work that holds you back.
The field of holistic practice has been around for ages like reiki, massage, healing touch. Different modalities have opened doors to peeling back layers of trauma that can develop through the scope of time leading to dysfunction and inability to get out of our own way.
Often times referring to the ego that says "who do you think you are to accomplish great things or feelings of inadequacies. Whatever the stuck pattern is there is light at the end of the tunnel when you let go and start living your field of dreams by starting with love.
The ability to love yourself takes one look at seeing the significant person that you truly are and letting others in that can help support your return to love.
The Holistic Mentorship Network will continue to look and discover many venues that will bring community together to support your journey and discover natural forms of healing.
Let us know how we can best support you? What are your needs, wants or desires? It does not matter how long you have been in this industry or a member of the community in which we all live in the world. We all have so much to learn from each other.
The Holistic Mentorship Network is here to support you, to be a catalyst in strengthening our industry and raise our consciousness to how we show up in our life, in our workplace and within the world.
The time is now to come together and create a synergy that will shift the consciousness of our industry "and provide the space to share, learn, teach, grow and lead."
We love to hear your voice!!
Have an expressive day!! Linda Mitchell
We are opening up this space in our newsletter to hear from our members on personal and professional development. This will give all of us a chance to "share, learn, teach, grow and lead".

Middle Age- the Harvest
Is there Really Such a thing as Middle Age
Jefferson Harman- A Symbolic Intuitive and contributor of MARCI, our online holistic health and wellness magazine, gives his insight on "Is there really such a thing as middle age?" The following is an insert from our fall 09' issue of MARCI-
"No. Well, maybe. Here's the thing, there is no such thing as reality. Let's start there. What exists is really agreed upon perception and perspective. In other words, there are seven billion realities going on simultaneously. And that's just the humans.
No two people see the world the same way. And no two people age identically. In my workshops on symbology, I teach that "middle age" is nothing more than an agreed upon societal construct. It's meaningless. If someone dies at 80, their middle age is 40. But if someone dies at 14, heaven forbid, their middle age is seven.
We are taught, almost programmed, how to perceive aging from when we are very young. As Westerners, we have particularly distorted views on this subject. While other cultures may honor and revere the elderly, Western cultures tend to see them... Season to share yourself in MARCI™.Shamanic Healing
Shamanic Healing is a spiritual method of healing that deals with the spiritual aspect of illness. From the Shamanic point of view, people who are not "power-filled" spiritually are more prone to illness, accidents, and bad luck. The shaman restores a person's linkage to his or her spiritual power in order to restore health and healing. A healthy person who is not sick might go on a vision quest to get this power connection, but one of the shaman's jobs is to help people who are in no condition to help themselves.
There are three common causes of illness in the shaman's worldview. A person may have lost his or her power, causing depression, chronic illness, or a series of misfortunes. In this case, the Shaman will journey to restore that person's lost power.
Or a person may have lost part of his or her soul, causing soul loss, which sometimes occurs during an emotional or physical trauma, such as accidents, surgery, abuse, divorce, etc. Soul loss can result in dissociation, post-traumatic stress syndrome, depression, illness, immune deficiency problems, addictions, unending grief, or coma. Soul loss can prevent us from creating healthy relationships and the life we truly wish to live. It is the role of the shaman to track down the parts that have fled and been lost due to trauma by performing a soul retrieval ceremony.
Another cause of illness from a Shamanic perspective would be any spiritual blockages or negative energies a client has taken on due to the loss of his or her power or soul. These spiritual blockages also cause illness, usually in a localized area of the body. It is the role of the shaman to extract and remove these harmful energies from the body.
