| Healing TouchHealing Touch is a collection of 30 techniques to clear, energize and balance the human energy field and the chakras. The Healing Touch Program was developed in the early 1980's by Janet Mentgen RN, BSN. The Healing Touch student learns techniques created by Mentgen, as well as other well-know healers, such as Barbara Brennen, Brugh Joy , MD , Rosalyn Bruyere and even the Hopi Indians! Healing Touch techniques are versatile and may be done either on a massage table or in a chair. There are full body balancing techniques as well specific techniques for tension and sinus headaches, pain relief, back and neck tension and mind clearing. Healing Touch is heart centered and holistic, uniting body, mind, emotions and spirit. It is used as a complement to traditional healthcare and is offered at hospitals, hospices, wellness centers, clinics and spas. As self-paced 5 level professional program, HT training is open to individuals from all walks of life. It is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association and is approved for continuing education credits for nurses, massage therapists and acupuncturists.
